Side note (Sivuhuomio) is an event focused on equality, organized by Pertti’s Choice and Grafia. Side note creates a platform where the “insider” and “outsider” worlds can come together in the visual communication field. The program includes a participatory zine exhibition and guided zine workshops.
The zine exhibition invites visitors to admire, giggle, and be inspired! Together, Pertti’s Choice, the Zineton zine challenge, and Grafia are collecting 200 zines to display. At the participatory zine station, you’ll be able to make your own zinepage.
The 4-hour zine workshop encourages participants to experiment and challenge the borders of creativity. You’ll be able to create your own zine, either independently or in collaboration with a friend. Pre-registration for the workshop is through Grafia and Pertti’s Choice.
All the events are free of charge.
