Aimed at multidisciplinary student groups, the goal of the competition is to find inspiring proposals that support Helsinki’s strategic goals for the development of the city center. The competition seeks new views and ideas about the role of the city center and its strengths and development areas.

At the opening ceremony, the background and objective of the student competition will be explained in detail. The schedule and rules of the competition, as well as the technical instructions, will be briefly explained. The event will also open a discussion about the vitality and uniqueness of the city center of Helsinki. After the discussion, you are welcome to visit Helsinki Design Week’s main exhibition.
