Use this form to apply for a vendor slot at the Design Market at the Cable Factory, 7–8 September 2024.

The form has two parts. First fill in the information that will display on the official Design Market (HDW) website once your brand has been approved for the market. At the end of the form, please fill in your contact and billing information, which are only visible to Helsinki Design Week (Luovi Productions) personnel.

It will take about 10 minutes to fill in the form. Unfortunately, you need to add all of your information at once; there is no option to save the form and return to it later. After filling in the form, you will receive a message confirming that it has been received.

Once your application has been approved, you’ll receive login credentials for our intranet to provide further information. After receiving your login credentials, you will be able to complete the information that will be displayed on the website.

Design Market 2024 Stock Sale event at the Cable Factory

Time: 7–8 September 2024
Place: Cable Factory / Kaapelitehdas, Kaapeliaukio 3, 00180 Helsinki
Opening hours: 11–18
Sales event description: This design stock sale event provides an opportunity to buy and sell high quality surplus furniture, interior design/decor items, clothing and accessories. We welcome manufacturers and resellers of high quality design products who would like to sell their items to customers at discounted prices. The event includes an auxiliary event programme as well as cafe and restaurant services.
Target group: Urban residents interested in design, sustainable development and quality of life
Expected visitors: 10,000 persons per weekend
Participation fee: The participation fee is 110€/m2 plus VAT 24%.

The participation fee includes the vendor slot, electricity, the use of WLAN and generic marketing communications for the event. The WLAN in the venue allows the use of payment terminals.

General marketing communication includes the advertisements visible in the city. The event will be advertised on HDW’s own social media channels, the website and in the Festival Post newsletter sent during the festival, as well as in Radio Helsinki’s radio commercials.

Design Market’s strength lies in community and synergy. So please remember to communicate in your own channels as well (social media, newsletters, website). Marketing materials designed for Design Market sellers can be downloaded from the intranet.

Helsinki Design Week encourages all of its contributors to pursue sustainable development, and the Design Market is primarily targeted at design companies with high quality products made while adhering to the principles of sustainable development. We encourage our vendors to engage in transparent design and manufacturing, and expect them to provide detailed information about the origins of their products and materials.

The information below will appear on the Design Market website, so please carefully consider what you write. Participating vendors will receive login credentials for our intranet to be able to edit and add to their information at a later date. Please note that vendors are independently responsible for the updating and correctness of their text and information by 3 June 2024.

The below information will be only visible to the Helsinki Design Week production and invoicing team. Select among the alternatives below for applications to the basic Design Market or the Print Market.

Key figures of Helsinki Design Week’s marketing Communication services

We can offer additional visibility for the vendors through Helsinki Design Week’s channels. You can increase visibility by purchasing more marketing communications. The materials must be submitted to Helsinki Design Week by the separately announced deadline, 31 July 2024 at the latest. If the materials are not delivered according to the schedule, the HDW team cannot implement marketing communication measures. In this case, the participation fee will be refunded. The HDW team reserves the right to modify images and texts to suit the whole.

5 June 2024 If a company does not cancel their participation by the given timeline, it is obliged to pay the participation fee in full.
