To gather in Helsinki
We recommend to stay the entire afternoon and evening with us. Come up to spend a full day in the north of the centre. Be surprised how your senses will be tickled :)
The event will include culinary aspects, sound and visual experience. Everything is pure and analog. The music will be ambient and live :)
The toilet is unfortunately not big enough for a wheelchair but we would find a solution :)
To gather is a built, painted, performed, and wished space that envisions and implements a crossover of memories, emotions, and biographies.
In September, we will participate in Helsinki Design Week and invite you to share and experience with us the dimensions of Celebration, this year's theme of the design week. Celebration—something that we consider as an act of opening up, coming together, and creating a feeling of belonging. Working with sound, materials, and food, we will reach out to all your senses and invite you to dive in, taste, and let go. We are more than happy to open the doors of Koekeittio, a culinary art space and test kitchen that perfectly combines what we focus on. Starting at 4 PM with a welcoming ritual by Elisa Bächle, using local herbs and silk printed linen. Margaux Gazur follows, holding a field recording session that draws the line closer to kitchen sounds, smells, and the food that is prepared close by… Later on, Laura Fiore takes us with her records into the evening for an eclectic musical journey. We will play, we will create, we will cook, and we will celebrate.
Donation for food and music: 15 €
Drinks will be sold at the bar.
Food will be ready to share around 7 PM.
