Design Market

Design Market traditionally kicks off Helsinki Design Week. Held at the Cable Factory’s Merikaapelihalli, the event once again brings together sellers of high-quality furniture, homeware, clothing and accessories from Finland and the surrounding region.

This year, the programme is complemented by the new Design Market Workshops, offering visitors the opportunity to learn hands-on skills from professionals in the field.

On the same weekend at the Cable Factory, HDW Children’s Design Week will also take place. The event is free for the whole family!

Practical information: It is suggested to leave the strollers to the designated stroller area in Merikaapelihalli. The isles of Design Market can be full of people. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, provided they can be carried if necessary. Visitors can also enjoy complimentary Fazer coffee, making it easy to take a little break and enjoy a cup of coffee during the shopping experience.
