Merikaapeli Hall, Cable Factory
It’s hard to imagine Helsinki Design Week without the hugely popular Design Market at the Cable Factory. Once again, Merikaapeli Hall will host a curated selection of high‑quality furniture, homeware and apparel sellers from Finland and neighbouring regions.
At Puristamo, you can discover HDW Children’s Design Week’s special surprise, the Skiddo Party! installation, created in collaboration with the Skidit Collective.
In Valssaamo, you’ll find Artefakti, a final‑year exhibition by MA students from Aalto University’s Contemporary Design programme. Meanwhile, on the gallery level of Merikaapeli Hall, students from Lahti Institute of Design will host open‑studio workshops for all ages.

My designs are inspired by the materials: recycled silver and other recycled elements. I use stone beads, shell and glass.
