HDW Children’s Weekend teaches courage

Activities and workshops for young designers!

Eppu moves into a new house. What are new neighbours and their wonderful worlds like? What on earth does a designer do?

During Helsinki Design Week’s Children’s Weekend, in the former boiler hall (Kattilahalli) in Suvilahti, children can peek into Jenni Erkintalo and Reka Kiraly’s book ‘House Behind the Corner’ that creates a framework of spatial architecture. There are plenty of workshops and chores in sight for little designers.  Find bargains at the Little Market sales event throughout the weekend.

Come and see what kind of a garden have Kielo and Kuutti von Luomu created and what kind of a huge weave Granny Edna Virta-Berg as knitted.

N.B.! For safety reasons and to avoid blocking the walking lanes, buggies and prams cannot be brought inside the Kattilahalli building.
