The Open Call for the festival programme is now open!
This September, we celebrate the 20th anniversary of Helsinki Design Week, and you are warmly welcome to join us!
Are you planning a launch, an open house, a dinner event, or a workshop? Thinking about an installation, a pitching or networking session, a panel discussion, a walking tour, or simply a great excuse to bring friends and colleagues together under one roof?
Remember, at HDW, design is a broad concept. Our programme welcomes events from architecture, urban planning, fashion, design education, and material research. Over the past 20 years, we’ve been part of organising concerts, urban takeovers, group runs, all-night dance parties, and designer inspiration trips to waste treatment centres, artist studios in the city’s archipelago, and underground bomb shelters.
Helsinki Design Week’s programme offers inspiration and experiences for both creative professionals and the wider city community. You can find more details about our anniversary theme here.
The Open Call for events for the festival programme is now live, and you can submit your own event to be part of the official programme until early June. Find the application form here.
