Konstrundan is an annual open studio event held on 6-7 September that invites the public into the workspaces of hundreds of visual artists, craftspeople, designers and artist residencies across Finland. It offers visitors a chance to step inside the artists’ own environments, experience the creative process firsthand, and engage in conversations that deepen the understanding of art and creative practice. Konstrundan participates in Helsinki Design Week as a satellite event, but is an independent and well-established event that has been organized in Finland since 2008. Every year, it brings artists and audiences together across the country, showcasing Finland’s rich regional creative diversity and highlighting the many forms of art and artmaking practiced nationwide. The Helsinki region features 138 artists this year. Explore this year’s participating artists and event details at konstrundan.fi.
