Love Story of our Clothes mending workshop
The event space is at shopping centre Itis street level opposite Gigantti store entrance. You can drive in front of the doors and the doors open automatically. There is wheelchair or rollator access to the space. There is a small couple of cm high door step.
At Dome Upcycling's "Love Story of our Clothes" - mending workshop we celebrate extending the life of your beloved garments in need of a little TLC (tender, love and care). Through heartfelt tales we reflect on the happiness the cherished moments full with love and laughter bring wearing these clothes. Engage with our local upcycling designers and creative mending experts, who will assist you breathing new life into your wardrobe favorites bringing endless joy for generations.
Our aim? To raise awareness of extending the life time of clothes through mending and upcycling thus celebrate giving them extended life for generations. Throughout the workshop, we will be discussing different ways to mend and upcycle hoping to ignite a passion for repairing, caring and sustainable living, and thus extending the life-time of our clothes. Selected stories will be captured on video and in photographs, immortalizing your garment's journey. Don't forget to bring along your most cherished pieces of clothing in need of repair!
