Field of flowers is a touring pop-up exhibition that celebrates the future of signature Marimekko floral prints in bold colors. This year, the touring exhibition has received an enthusiastic reception in Asian metropolises, from Osaka to Bangkok.

Floral abstractions have been a cherished theme for Marimekko’s print designers for decades. The Field of flowers exhibition unveils 25 entirely new floral prints designed by Antti Kekki, Masaru Suzuki, Eija Vehviläinen, Aino-Maija Metsola and Erja Hirvi, with five prints created by each artist.

We invite you to an after-work event hosted by Anni Korkman, HDW Program director. This event will bring all four of the Helsinki-based designers of the project Antti Kekki, Aino-Maija Metsola, Erja Hirvi and Eija Vehviläinen to the stage to discuss the project, florals and their design process with Marimekko's home design director Minna Kemell-Kutvonen. Drinks and snacks available. The discussion is in Finnish.
