Arela For Good

Arela hosts a pop-up shop for second hand Arela knits, as well as tips to caring for cashmere clothing and a sample sale. The aim of the For Good concept is to lengthen the life of garments by increasing awareness of clothing materials and start discussion about consumption choices we make.

Camilla Vuorenmaa: The Sea Separates Us

The Fine Arts Academy of Finland awarded its 2015 prize to Camilla Vuorenmaa (b. 1979). Part of the prize is the exhibition at EMMA, Espoo Museum of Modern Art. Her work combines traditional painting with woodwork. Meet the artist on Friday 19th as a part of the EMMA’s Artist Talk series.

Ilkka Suppanen at Design Museum

The Torsten and Wanja Söderberg Prize is awarded annually in Sweden to an active Nordic designer or craftsperson. In 2015 the designer Ilkka Suppanen was awarded with the prize. In January 2016 the exhibition of the awarded designer will be touring first time ever at Design Museum Helsinki. Ilkka Suppanen’s products have been exhibited for example at the Venice Architecture Biennale, the Milan Furniture Fair and MoMA in New York.
