The Vuoden Huiput Festival is here again!

Vuoden Huiput Festival gathers together Finnish and foreign forerunners from various creative practises to Clarion on 1 March 2018. 

The festival will be kicked off by a global superstar of graphic design, Eike König. The Norwegian Snøhetta has expanded their field from architecture to brand management, and the audience will hear from Martin Gran himself.

The programme will be wrapped up by Leyla Acaroglu, whose keynote will focus on the design tools that can be used to save the world. Leyla Acaroglu challenges her audience to question their views on the world and explore design as a catalyst for positive change in our societies and the environment.

The list of international top speakers also includes the duo from Copenhagen, Wang & Söderström, who work in a multidisciplinary way through blurring the lines between visual communications, digital/physical manufacturing, art and spatial design. This duo makes use of new technologies while shaping the visual and spatial experiences of the future.

Font Selfie

Sarah Hyndman, a designer specialized in typography, will host a Font selfie workshop where you can choose a typeface complimenting your own personality and decorate it as you prefer.

Candy Play 

Free yourself in a creative play and release yourself from the familiar. Explore the shapes and colours of candy, and build and photograph your creation at the nonstop playpoint created by Kukka-Maria Kiuru.

LCMDF DJ SET

After the official part of the programme, the after party will be hosted by LCMDF DJs.
