Design Market, online and around the city on 3–5 September

The greatly popular start for the festival spreads through Helsinki and the internet at the beginning of September. The event, which usually takes place at the Cable Factory,  will this year take place in the vendors’ own shops and online stores. There will still be great finds, samples and other treasures for you to discover from Thursday until Saturday, 3–5 September 2020.

In April, Helsinki Design Week conducted a trial production of Design Market Online, which was a great success. For the festival version, the addition of physical shops will create a greater impact. Safety and hygiene is more easily taken care of in smaller-scaled events. For the shopkeepers, Design Market can offer the chance to finally arrange for customers to meet their favourite designers and share other stories behind the products. The shops can also make use of our printed marketing materials and even bring the festival atmosphere into the streets! On the Design Market Campaign page on the website, all vendors and their sale products will be listed and made visible through the use of links and images.

Interested in becoming a vendor? Please apply before the 15th of July. For those who have applied to be a part of the Design Market at the Cable Factory: please note that your application will not be automatically transferred to the new implementation of the event.
