This year, the Design Market serves international shoppers, too

The greatly popular start for the festival spreads through Helsinki and the internet at the beginning of September. The event, which usually takes place at the Cable Factory, will this year take place in the vendors’ own shops and online stores from Thursday to Saturday, 3–5 September 2020.

You will still be able to discover great finds, samples and other treasures. The products are sold directly from the vendors’ own physical shops and online stores, and most of the shops deliver abroad, too. The offers are valid from Thursday to Saturday, 3–5 September. The physical stores are marked with this sticker:

Brands include Johanna Gullichsen, Woodnotes, Hakola, Samuji, Lapuan kankurit and Klaus Haapaniemi & Co. See all the vendors and offers here.

Walking tours in Design District Helsinki

During the Design Market, Design District Helsinki organizes three guided walks around the district. You will be taken to distinguished design shops offering sample sales and good bargains and get to meet designers. All of the vendors are committed to environmentally sound design and products.

Notice that you’re warmly welcome to take the tour on your own, as well, but please, pay attention to the opening hours.
