Kid’s Day at Vuotalo
Vuosaari House is accessible to people with disabilities. All indoor and outdoor areas provide easy access and level corridors and passages.
The underground car park at Vuosaari House has disabled parking spaces and direct access to the main lobby and second floor by lift.
At the Vuotalo main entrance, there are thresholds exceeding 2 cm in height and the doors can be opened automatically with a button.
A disabled toilet can be found on the first floor.
Come and visit Vuosaari House during Helsinki Design Week! Experience Pasi Pitkänen’s exhibition aimed at children and young people and participate in a Lego building workshop hosted by Arkki School of Architecture for Children and Youth.
Inspired by Pasi Pitkänen's illustration exhibition, the most amazing train carriages will be built as part of a shared snake train. A snake train? What is that? Come and see for yourself! Everyone can build a carriage and join the adventure. The workshop is suitable for children and adults. Feel free to come and build for the entire duration or stay for a short while.
