Come and visit Vuosaari House during Helsinki Design Week! Experience Pasi Pitkänen’s exhibition aimed at children and young people and participate in a Lego building workshop hosted by Arkki School of Architecture for Children and Youth.

Inspired by Pasi Pitkänen's illustration exhibition, the most amazing train carriages will be built as part of a shared snake train. A snake train? What is that? Come and see for yourself! Everyone can build a carriage and join the adventure. The workshop is suitable for children and adults. Feel free to come and build for the entire duration or stay for a short while.

Vuosaari House provides the people of Vuosaari and eastern Helsinki with a wide range of cultural events, changing exhibitions in the gallery, and art education activities intended for children, young people, day care centres and schools. The City of Helsinki is responsible for the programme at Vuosaari House. Vuosaari House was completed in early 2001. It was designed by Heikkinen-Komonen Architects, who won the architectural competition held in 1996 with their design “a la kyltyyri”.
