The popular Design Diplomacy programme returns this year for its tenth edition. Once again, it opens the doors to ambassadors’ residences – remarkable spaces that are rarely accessible to the public. To mark the anniversary year, the programme will feature an especially engaging lineup of guests and conversations.
Design Diplomacy is built around the idea of open dialogue. Designers from different countries meet as equals, sharing their experiences, perspectives and ideas in an informal conversation guided by a card game created specifically for the event.
The discussions have no moderator; instead, the questions on the cards steer the dialogue in unexpected directions and towards new insights. Following the conversations, participants are invited to continue the exchange over refreshments in the company of the ambassadors.
Registration for the event opens on 17 August.
