The event is held at Kaapelitehdas in a space called Valssaamo. An accessible entrance as well as accessible toilets are both available at the location. The works are presented in various heights around the space. The event catalogue is available both as a physical booklet and online.
ARTEFAKTI is an annual exhibition showcasing work done by the most recent graduates from the Contemporary Design MA program at Aalto University. The exhibition incorporates varied materials and covers diverse subject matters, ranging from material storytelling, craft, and more-than-human design to personal exploration and process-oriented design.
ARTEFAKTI 24 also features design-themed workshops and events, as well as both a digital archive of the works and a printed catalogue.
A pop-up store selling graduating students’ work is organised as part of the exhibition during the first weekend 7.-8.9. at 11-19.
