The autumn season opening of Hotel AX’s contemporary art exhibition will take place on September 11, 2024, from 5 PM to 7 PM.
This group exhibition in the hotel’s public spaces brings forgotten works by emerging and established artists back into the spotlight. Some pieces are being shown for the first time, while others have been exhibited before. Tailored for Hotel AX, the exhibition presents artworks in dialogue, creating a new context and platform from their original display.
This concept has been part of Hotel AX since its opening. Over 30 artists, including Johanna Ehrnrooth, Kari Holopainen, and Emma Sarpaniemi, have participated in these rotating exhibitions, which change every six months, in spring and autumn. This autumn, works by Taru Happonen, Timo Andersson among other notable artists will be featured. The opening will offer light refreshments, with music by DJ Lauri Soini.
