Vuoden Huiput Festival, held for the first time, brings together Finnish and foreign forerunners from various creative practices. The one-day festival combineshigh-level keynote-speakers, discussions and creative laboratories. Shortlist of Vuoden Huiput Competition will be announced at the festival and the jurors will shed light on the selection process.
Helsinki Design Week’s beloved series of discussions is a part of the programme. One Finnish design professional meets an international designer in a playful, intelligent card game that challenges both the speakers and the audience.
The Design Diplomacy speakers are Taika Mannila & Chris Bolton (Canada), Anna Alanko & Alari Orav (Estonia) and Janine Rewell & Anmar Matrood (Iraq).
