The theme of the exhibition is incorporating folklore heritage into contemporary fashion. Textiles and garments as means of communication constitute a bridge that can connect or bring closer the urban person of the 21st century to the values of peasant life and culture.

How can traditions be continued and kept alive?
How can traditional decorative or structural techniques be used and reinterpreted, transplanted into contemporary design culture?

The students of the MOME Design Institute have proposed different solutions to these questions. The project of the students of the Master’s Institute includes a gesture of incorporating tradition into the process or emphasising continuity.

The exhibition is open from September 6th til October 11th, Mon-Fri 10 AM – 6 PM.
