Open Studios

Open Studios opens the doors to the everyday realities of creative work, shines a light on professionals across the design fields, and offers a unique opportunity to explore the creative industries from within. The programme highlights the people and work environments that often remain behind the finished products, services and buildings we encounter, giving visitors a chance to see how ideas are conceived, developed and brought into the world around us.

On two Fridays (28 August & 4 September), visitors are invited to explore some of the city’s most inspiring studios and workspaces and meet the people behind them. These visits offer insight into the projects, phenomena and questions currently shaping the work of designers, architects, artists and other creative professionals. At the same time, Open Studios creates opportunities for conversation, fresh perspectives and a closer encounter with Helsinki’s diverse creative community.
